BSIL Joins IAGS!
We are proud to announce that the Bangladesh Society of International Law (BSIL) is now an Official Institutional Member of the International Association of Genocide Scholars (IAGS) , the world’s leading academic network dedicated to the study and prevention of genocide.
At BSIL, we are committed to advancing critical and independent scholarship on genocide. Our work is rooted in a principled and internationalist vision of justice.
This membership marks a significant step in our efforts to:
– Advocate for global recognition of the 1971 Bangladesh Genocide,
– Support justice and memory for victims worldwide, and
– Raise our voice against ongoing atrocities, including the unfolding genocide in Gaza.
We look forward to meaningful collaborations with IAGS and its global community of scholars, and to contributing fresh perspectives from the Global South.
